Michele joins HeadNorth after more than a decade of working with nonprofit and community groups, most recently the Hemophilia Association of San Diego County. Michele has a passion for fundraising and building meaningful programs that serve and enrich individual lives and the community. She credits her philanthropic grandmother for teaching her the value of community service from a young age. Michele brings a sensible and strategic business approach to managing nonprofits.

Karolyn was brought onto the HeadNorth team to develop and oversee events and programs for the organization. With over ten years in the event industry, Karolyn brings her passion for managing projects from inception to execution. While working at HeadNorth, Karolyn has discovered another passion, the gratification of making a positive impact on people’s lives every day.
HeadNorth was founded for Eric Northbrook following his bike accident leaving him paralyzed from the chest down in 2006. Eric has played an active role in the development of HeadNorth since it’s inception. Eric continues to support the organization by both direct fundraising and development to sustain and enhance HeadNorth’s mission.
